Jan Moir has already survived the scandals over Stephen Gately and the subsequent fallout where she “apologised” but did not retract what she said. This time round, another celebrity is in the spotlight



So, after a week of being vilified and roasted by various publications and the general public, Jan Moir arrives at her usual weekly column in the Daily Mail. Does she take the chance to apologise fully for her article and perhaps go some way to righting the wrongs of that article? Does she acknowledge that what she wrote was spiteful, hurtful and hateful? Or does she make an excuse and write about how everything she said has been misconstrued, misinterpreted and generally not what she meant?
